Help us help you get your printing jobs done faster by checking these points before sending your files:

• Fonts: Include all fonts used in document — either PostScript outlines with accompanying bitmap files or TrueType files. If you've used fonts in any EPS graphic, be sure to include them as well.
• Graphics: We need copies of all the graphics files that you've used in your document. Without them, we cannot output your file to film separations.
• Images: Need to be in CMYK format. (CMYK = Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black). If your job is printing in four-color process and you supply files in RGB format, they will not separate at the film image-setter. This means possibly re-running film for a job — costing you time and money.
• Proofread: Take the time to spell-check and proofread your document — it will save you time and money in the long run.
• Bleed: Check to make sure you have given enough bleed on any images/art that goes off the page. Minimum of 1/8th inch.
• Trapping: To insure successful printing, different ink colors must be "trapped". Where ever different ink colors touch, the colors should slightly overlap in order to avoid white areas when printing. Most software contains instructions on trapping objects in your files.
• PDF is the preferred file format. Turn off all compression and embed all fonts. Check to make sure files include bleed if you want your art or images to go off the page.
• Pages should always be sent in single page form - DO NOT send spreads.
• Resolution: 150 Line Screen Output = 300 dpi Images at 100% Size in Quark, Indesign or other application.
• Resolution: 175 Line Screen Output = 350 dpi Images at 100% Size in Quark, Indesign or other application.
• Bitmap-Line-Art: 1000 dpi.
  
• Quark: In Quark, with your file open, use the "Collect For Output" feature, correct any errors before sending files to AZ Litho.
  IN QUARK THE COLLECT FOR OUTPUT IS LOCATED UNDER THE FILE MENU.
• InDesign: With your document open, go to file in the menu and use the package. Correct any errors you get before sending the files to AZ Litho. Make sure to include bleed if you have used it.
