Print Ready Tip – Bleeds

As you are designing your printed piece, there are a few rules to keep in mind. Your goal is to have a beautiful end product that shows just how great your company is. Big solids and bleeds with bright colors are always eye catching. When you are constructing your artwork, keep in mind that the bleeds should be at least 1/8 of an inch larger than your finished size. If you have a picture that bleeds off of the edge of the sheet, and it cannot be cropped to give us enough bleed, consider adding a complimentary color frame at the edges. There are many ways to accomplish your goal of an eye-catching printed piece. Give your sales representative a call in the design phase to avoid any potential challenges.
